Magpie Memo
In-game notepad with live chat-link chips
How it looks
There's no notepad inside Guild Wars 2, so players scribble build orders, farming routes and shopping lists into alt-tabbed apps — where a pasted chat link is nothing but a meaningless string of characters. Magpie Memo keeps those notes in the game, and every chat link you drop in becomes a live chip showing the real icon, name and tooltip right where you wrote it.
Features
- Multiple notes in a two-pane layout — titles on the left, the selected note on the right; create, rename, and delete
- Markdown rendering for bold, italic, headings, and bullet lists, with a raw-source edit mode
- View / edit modes with Save / Cancel and an unsaved-changes prompt so edits are never lost
- Chat-link chips for waypoints, items, skins, skills, and builds — shown inline with icon, name, and hover tooltip
- Right-click a chip to copy its chat code or open it in the wiki
- Build links show their specialization automatically
- Works with or without Decoder Ring — chips fall back gracefully and never break
