Discordant

Discord voice overlay and Rich Presence

How it looks

When you're playing with friends on Discord, alt-tabbing to check who's talking breaks immersion — and Discord's native overlay doesn't work with GW2. Discordant solves both problems: it renders your voice channel directly in-game, and updates your Discord Rich Presence to show your character name, current map, and elite specialization.

Features

  • See who is in your voice channel in-game
  • Speaking indicator with visual highlight
  • Mute and deafen status display
  • Auto-follow when switching channels
  • Discord Rich Presence shows your character name and current map
  • Elite specialization icon on your profile, covering all specs through Visions of Eternity
  • Rich Presence fields individually toggleable
  • Custom Discord Application ID support

AI Notice

This site and its projects have been largely created using Claude. I understand that some folks have a moral, financial or political objection to creating software using an LLM. I just wanted to make useful tools for the GW2 community, and this was the only way I could do it.

If an LLM creating software upsets you, then perhaps this site isn't for you. Move on, and enjoy your day.
